ThisDrinkingLife and The World Cup:Mexico
Mexico: They just about got over the line in qualifying suffering some shocking defeats in the process and using over 40 players in that campaign. And if you look at their squad it’s a little bare, not much quality has been added since the last world cup. It really seems that Mexico are going backwards with their national team.
Rafael Márquez, is still around, a great player in his prime, but how old is he now? He looked slow four years ago, cant think how he will survive with the high temp game that Brazil and Cameroon will play against Mexico.
Mexico, like Cameroon are a team that are always a pleasure to watch, but this time it might be a case of hiding behind the couch as I can see them shipping a lot of goals.
Key player is Javier Hernández, its about time for the Manchester United player to really show the world the talent that we only have got glimpses of so far in his career. Its not like he had a taxing season with United after all.
Final prediction, Mexico not to get out of the group
