Denmark V Australia
(Synopsis in red)
Pregame bets:
Will stick with Denmark, they won me money for the first game, and even though they didn’t play well I think they just have enough skill to beat an ordinary Australian team.

Fuck Denmark, fucking hopeless cunts. I’d love if they didn’t make the second round now, wankers. lol
Beers: Group C of Beer World Cup:
Denmark’s most famous beer, Carlsberg up against Australia’s most famous brew, Fosters. Both beers won their opening beer games, so its a head to head to see who goes top of Beer World Cup C.
V
Some contrasts. Carlsberg looked terrible and wasn’t the best but manageable, but when I poured Fosters it looked marvelous, shining and ready to be devoured, but then there was little aroma and very little taste, what a shock. So Carlsberg it is to edge a tight enough match between two disappointing beers.
PreGame:
Was very disappointed with Denmark in their first game V Peru, they were very lethargic, Eriksen was woeful, Sisto had bags of energy but no vision, while N Jørgensen was an embarrassment to forwards everywhere, lazy fucker.
But they were lucky that Poulsen was on form. He had a great game, definitely a man of the match performance, pacing up and down the pitch, scoring a cracker of a goal and also got in a very decisive header near the end to clear the defence. Brilliant work ethic.
Denmark can relax a bit, knowing they have the 3 points already on the board and if they get even a draw today it should put them half way into the next round. I would imagine they will do a number on Australia, and catch them on the break a few times.
Australia can consider themselves a little unlucky in their first game against France what with the dodgy penalty and a fluky goal to concede, and yes they defended well against France but maybe, just maybe, if they had went for it a bit more perhaps they might have gotten more from the game?
Australia didn’t do a whole lot going forward and it its so hard to say what they are really like as France were so turgid, and perhaps the fact they let a really poor French team beat them might say a lot about where they are at the moment.
A more detailed review on Australia here and on Denmark here
Ah Jesus Denmark what the fuck. From the driving seat to barely holding on in the second half. Tut tut. Ok the referee gifted a penalty to Australia that was never a penalty, but Denmark still had enough quality to get a win here, but they did sweet f.a in the second half, very disappointing to see.
All started perfectly for the Danes, with Eriksen blasting in a lovely executed volley early on, and it look like there would be a hiding for the Aussies. Denmark were playing some decent passing football, Sisto was better, Schöne was impressive and they had a few chances to increase their lead. N Jørgensen heading wide when it might have looked easier to score. All looked well.
But not far from half time, a very slight handball that was very unintentional was given as a penalty, and Jedinak scored from the peno spot. Well done to Jedinak for keeping his composure. Australia were back in this game.
We expected Denmark to come out in the second half and normal service would resume, but instead it was all Australia and they were unlucky on a few occasions not to snatch a winning goal. What they lacked in skill they more than made up for it in spirit and tenace. Leckie for Australia was simply outstanding, all over the pitch, left and right, and such a workhorse. he might not be the most technically gifted player but boy does he work his socks off for the team, great performance.
Denmark left their brains in the dressing room as they played shite in the second half, barely doing anything of substance and their star players were missing. Nothing from Eriksen, Sisto reverted to his usual game of running a bit then losing the ball, Schmeichel getting nutmegged, and what can we say about N Jørgensen, a fucking donkey if I ever seen one, hopeless. I was wondering why the manager took so long to replace him, in the 68th minute then I realized why, as the bench was full of muck too. Braithwaite and Cornelius, who eventually replaced him, and who both came on, were as bad.
Jedinak is having a good tournament, two goals but he offers a lot more than a key penalty taker, he links play very well and is a good defensive check in the centre of midfield, even if he looks like a pedophile with that awful beard.
Great result for Australia, knowing that if they beat Peru they seriously have a great chance of progressing, while Denmark’s hopes rest on the last game with France, a draw might still be good enough for them in that game, but at the moment they scarcely deserve to be in the last 16.
