ThisDrinkingLife and The World Cup: Costa Rica
One could feel for Costa Rica, an average team unfortunately lumped in with three heavy weights of world football, Italy, Uruguay and, eh, England. In another group they might have a chance of a win against another bottom feeder team, but in this group no way. I would be honestly surprised if Costa Rica manage to score more than one goal in the three games.
Nothing stands out in their squad, and although they did well to qualify in second place in the Concacaf qualifying, ahead of Mexico, I think they will be heading home early. A first round exit.
